Dresden_Nehlsen-BWB Flugzeug-Galvanik Dresden GmbH & Co. KG

In the northern part of Dresden, a European City of Culture, you will find Nehlsen-BWB, right by the airport. For over 40 years, there has been an electroplating workshop at the Dresden-Klotzsche airport. In 1993, the surface treatment engineering section was spun off from Flugzeugwerft and taken over by Nehlsen. Since 2004, Flugzeug-Galvanik (the aircraft electroplating operation) has been part of the BWB Group.

The strenght of BWB-Nehlsen lies in the functional processing of Aluminium, Titanium, Copper and its alloys, cr-ni steel material,
special material and high-strength steel as well as fiber reinforced composites (CFK, GFK) with various metallic, oxidized and
organic coatings.

Due to the broad and interesting process range, BWB-Nehlsen takes a leading role in the coating of aviation parts. The plant in
Dresden enjoys a long lasting partnership to many companies in the aviation industry (QSF-A/B) and traditionally stands for high
quality, technological variety and flexibility.
