On the moon

One product developed by Bern University and finished at Schlierholz Eloxal AG even made it to the moon: the surface of the solar wind collector placed into the moon by the astronaut Edwin Aldrin on the Apollo 11 mission on 21 July 1969 was anodised in Niederwangen. Normally, our expertise is called on in colouring small parts, including mechanical pre-treatment. In addition, we have an automated cylindrical grinding unit for rods. Our customers mainly come from the conventional machine-building industry.
