In 1963, the first anodising plant for BWB Surface technology was constructed in the canton of Nidwalden. Since then, BWB has continuously grown to become the leading Swiss supplier of aluminium coatings. The BWB Group now operates 12 production sites in Switzerland, Germany, Romania and the Netherlands.

BWB Surface technology specialises in electrolytic, chemical and galvanic surface coatings for applications in aviation, industry, medical technology and architecture.

 

Quality and environmental protection

The ongoing striving for improvement is reflected in the quality of BWB. Numerous certifications, including EN 9100, ISO 13485 and Nadcap, confirm the high quality of BWB's services.
The BWB is also committed to climate protection and has signed a target agreement with the federal government until 2024. By doing so, BWB commits itself to a permanent reduction of the energy expenditure through an optimised exploitation of the saving potentials.
