Expansion of Nadcap certificate in Brasov

The BWB Surface Technology S.R.L. from Brasov is the highest quality surface service provider for the aerospace industry in Romania. Following the successful establishment of the NADCAP system for chemical processing, the program was recently expanded in 2018 with the NADCAP "Non-destructive Testing". This significantly enlarges the capabilities (NADCAP Checklist CP + SE + NDT) of the whole BWB Group.

Penetration crack testing (FPI) is a typical and common type of nondestructive testing. The purified components are wetted with a penetrating oil which penetrates all types of cracks and later, under UV light, cracks are highlighted for evaluation.

The BWB Surface Technology S.R.L. treats aluminum components for national and international customers in the aerospace industry. The certification of the quality system according to EN9100 is the basic prerequisite for this. The Nadcap approval for chemical processes (CP) and now also the NDT approval builds on it. The system ensures process control at the highest level in the connected supplier network of the major airlines - to which Airbus in particular belongs.
