BWB Surface technology launches HELOXAL, a high-performance coating for the highest technical demands. The test values of the newly developed HELOXAL coating are impressive.
Outstanding values
With the bubble test, which is common in the industry, a corrosion resistance of over 480 minutes (>8h) was proven for the newly developed HELOXAL coating (High Performance Eloxal). The usual value for hard anodised coatings on the market is less than one hour. The other properties of the coating are also convincing: A dielectric strength of more than 30 V/µm is achieved. Low voltages of more than 1500 volts (1.5 kV) can be realised.

Versatile areas of application
Hard anodised aluminium surfaces according to MIL-A-8625F (Type III) are an essential component of high-tech products. For example, the production of wafers in the semiconductor industry requires a process surface that is resistant to aggressive media and has a high breakdown voltage.
In addition to increasing the service life, the HELOXAL coating also enables completely new areas of application that were previously unthinkable with ordinary aluminium surfaces
The highest requirements for quality, reproducibility and traceability are ensured by the continuously logged application at BWB-Altenrhein's state-of-the-art, fully automated coating plant, which was commissioned in January 2020
