Delivery service Northwestern Switzerland
25.08.2022
Orders often come in at very short notice, and usually have to be delivered as quickly as possible. In the already time-critical process of subcontracting surface-technology work, transportation is often the crucial challenge. This is where the flexible BWB transporter comes in, taking blanks from the mechanical-engineering industry to the anodisation factory and delivering refined workpieces back to the customer
Wednesdays are when deliveries are made in the greater Basel area. This route has been in effect for six months, with deliveries to northern Switzerland constantly growing. And whether it be last-minute or regular orders, you can always count on BWB transporter and driver Housi Bühler.

On Wednesdays, Housi Bühler does the Basel run. And if the mood and melody are right, he sometimes also practises his singing in the delivery truck.
He is flexible and drives all over Switzerland. The order books are currently full, and Housi is often on the road. He himself is peace and tranquillity personified, not usually saying a lot. When asked how he handles the holiday traffic, he agrees it's busier and says he drives particularly carefully during the summer holiday season.
Housi is a man of few words. During his free time, however, he enjoys singing the deep bass line at the Alpina Cheerli yodelling club. The long-time employee of BWB-Betschart in Stans-Oberdorf will be retiring in September after 32 years. But despite or because of the high volume of orders, Housi will likely be staying at BWB a little longer.
Thank you, Housi, for your loyalty and unique sense of enthusiasm.
