Dynamic aluminum facade with microperforated shading wings for Scott Sports

At the new Scott Sports headquarters in Givisiez, Fribourg, the façade is already dynamic. True to the in-house motto, the exterior envelope also crosses the boundaries of innovation, technology and design: the micro-perforated shading sashes made of anodized aluminum are sun-controlled and regulate the building’s indoor climate.

“A good façade is a technically superior, well thought-out and functional system that meets architectural requirements and visions.” – Nicolas Perrottet, Project Manager Sottas SA

Steel and metal facade builder Sottas SA developed and designed the high-tech facade, and BWB subsequently anodized the components in the BWB-Colinal 3115 color. Joint solutions were required in the project process for the production of the demanding individual pieces.

Not only the aluminum facade, but also the design of the interiors shows foresight and entrepreneurship. Behind the glass facade on the first floor are publicly accessible showrooms of various brand worlds of Scott Sports. The building also integrates fitness rooms and bicycle parking for the approximately 600 employees.

The four upper floors are home to office space, partly as open office landscapes and partly as meeting rooms for separate exchanges or concentrated work.
