A Strong Leadership Duo at the Helm of BWB-Aloxyd AG

As of 1 July, Ramona Ernst and Martin Schenk will assume joint co-leadership of BWB-Aloxyd AG at the Büren an der Aare and Niederwangen sites. With many years of experience in the company, they bring a strong understanding of the sites, customers and internal processes to their new roles.

The leadership transition is taking place during a phase of further development: The anodising facility at the Büren site is currently undergoing extensive expansion. At the heart of this investment is a new small-parts production line, which will create additional capacity and strengthen BWB-Aloxyd AG’s position as a provider of high-quality surface solutions. The new co-leadership team combines market-oriented and technical perspectives and ensures quick decision-making processes for the further development of the sites—in close coordination with the other production facilities serving the industrial, aerospace, and mechanical engineering sectors.

Martin Schenk and Ramona Ernst make up the new management team at BWB-Aloxyd AG.

Bernhard Mayer, the current managing director, will support the new management team during a transition period. He will remain with BWB Surface Technology in the future. For many years, he has played a key role in shaping the development of BWB-Aloxyd AG through his great dedication, professional expertise, and personal commitment. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to him for his valuable contribution and the trusting collaboration.

“Beni Mayer has played a key role in shaping our sites over many years and has guided us along the way. We are very grateful to him for this. This transition gives us the opportunity to build on what has proven successful while also adding our own accents — knowing that we will continue to work closely together in the future,,” emphasises Ramona Ernst.

With its new management structure and ongoing investments, BWB-Aloxyd AG is strengthening the foundations for the future of its Büren site. We wish Ramona Ernst and Martin Schenk every success in their new roles and look forward to jointly shaping the next phase of development.
