Philae – a bookshelf as a work of art

As part of Milan Design Week 2025, Kadid’s latest work, the multicolor anodized Philae shelf, will be presented at the House of Switzerland Milano. The platform showcases innovative and sustainable Swiss designs and offers selected creatives a stage with international appeal.

The shelf is exhibited in the Casa degli Artisti in the lively Brera district – a hotspot for contemporary art and design. The colored anodized surface of the shelf gives the object depth, elegance and a special visual dynamic – a perfect combination of function and art.

Photovoltaics for the future – own solar power production in Rudolfstetten

Since June 20, 2024, the BWB-Iten AG plant in Rudolfstetten has been producing its own solar power - thanks to a newly installed photovoltaic system on a roof area of around 350 m². The 320 modules installed generate several megawatt hours of electricity every year. On sunny days, the system achieves peak values of over 900 kWh.

Sector 9 – Electroplating redefined

With the newly developed Sector 9, BWB-Iten in Rudolfstetten is setting new standards in electroplating. The line was specifically designed for high efficiency, flexibility and quality. A manually operated gantry crane connects all process areas - from assembly to disassembly - and ensures an ergonomic and smooth process.
