Multicolor anodizing as a creative reinterpretation
The result of the collaboration between architect Raphael Kadid and BWB Surface Technology is multi-layered. The color-anodized surface, inspired by aerial photographs of aluminum mining areas, reflects the mineral origins of the material and gives each shelf an unmistakable look.
“Together with BWB Surface Technology, we were able to reinterpret aluminum not only as a material, but also as a creative medium. The multicolour anodizing carried out by hand makes each piece unique.”
