Aluminium in art

Aluminium is a versatile material that is widely used in art. For decades, artists have used aluminium as a base for their sculptures or as a canvas for their paintings. The works range from 20th century minimalist artwork to abstract contemporary art.

Since 1999, BWB's art department has been restoring minimalist artworks from the 20th century. In addition to restorations, BWB specializes in new constructions of works of art, their planning and realisation. BWB is a leader in the machining and surface treatment of aluminium. Together with the artists, galleries and museums, we search and research for solutions for a precise and authentic realisation.
