Pathology Institute in St. Gallen
Object: Pathology Institute in St. Gallen
Architects: Silvia Gmür Reto Gmür
Client: Hochbauamt des Kantons St. Gallen
Completion: 2010
BWB finish: Etching – with matte effect E6
BWB procedure: Sanodal® BWB-Argentan 1
The spectacular architecture of the building is further enhanced through the BWB coloration techniques.
With the BWB coloration processes, the dye sits inside the pores of the anodised layer. In the subsequent sealing process, all pores are closed. This results in extraordinarily high colourfastness.
