NADCAP certification

Outstanding team performance at Nehlsen-BWB

Nehlsen-BWB Flugzeug-Galvanik has very successfully renewed its NADCAP certificate in these times of pandemic, achieving the leading standard in aviation with top marks. The company met the strict requirements for eight chemical processes with 0 errors.

The entire Nehlsen-BWB team helped attain this top result after a 5-day audit. The covid safety measures meant the preparations were particularly complex: the auditor's meticulous travel planning with covid tests before arrival and departure, the wearing of FFP2 masks, consistent adherence to physical-distancing rules, and regular testing of the core team members were all part and parcel of this year's certification process. The safety concept also included a reduced team size, requiring perfect pooling of expertise.

'What great teamwork by the entire Nehlsen-BWB! We're delighted at the outstanding audit result, with 0 errors', says Stefan Kaßner, NADCAP project manager at Nehlsen-BWB.

The auditor also assessed two additional special processes in accordance with AC7108 and re-accredited Nehlsen-BWB for tartaric sulphuric acid anodising (TSA) and titanium anodising. The result of the audit once again demonstrates the high quality level, and renews the NADCAP certificate for another 18 months. Bravo Nehlsen-BWB!
